- Kept telling my hubby that I needed to take a break from knitting because of my sore fingers. About the fourth time I mentioned it he told me to either quit saying that or quit knitting, and then made the recommendation that I purchase fingerless gloves with copper threading. I tried to take a few days off and didn't even make it a day, lol 馃槀 oh well. #kniton

- Can't wait for spring. This has been a tough day, I can tell my husband is ready to be back to work, but since we're a relatively new landscape company in our area we have to wait for the winter lull to end. Eagerly awaiting buds and the wind to die down.
- Dear members, there is a widespread bug in some Windows 10 and Windows 11 systems that may cause you to have problems connecting to certain websites or you may have problems with websites not working properly, including this one.
If you have a system with an Intel Ethernet and/or Wi-Fi device that is branded as "Killer(R)", you may have the problem. If so, a service is installed in Windows that you can't uninstall nor update to a version that fixes the bug.
To fix the problem, run services.msc and that brings up the Windows Services window. Find "Killer Network Services" in the list and right click on it, then choose "Stop." If you right click on it again, you can click "Properties" where you can set the startup option to "Manual" or "Disabled". This will keep it from starting when you start Windows.
This service causes problems with https://www.t-mobile.com and https://code.jquery.com website. There are probably many other sites, but if you get a messages from your browser that says it can't connect to sites, even if it is infrequent, this could be the cause.
It will also cause sites not to work properly and prevent login forms from working because of https://code.jquery.com being blocked. This site will have the same problem or you may see other problems with this site like the drop down menu on the upper right may not work.
You can see more about stopping the service under the "(Optional)" section here: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000058940/wireless/wireless-software.html - Candy's Lent Shawl

Got a late start on this, as i didnt even realize i missed ash wednesday, so playing catch up. For Knitty McPurly's 40 days of lent mystery kit you get a mini to open each day *except sundays and different prayers, encouragements, bible verses to contemplate, etc. you are supposed to knit the mini each day (similar to an advent calendar) I missed out on purchasing her kit, so I just purchased the pattern from her and am using yarn I had in my stash. and as I knit on it each day I say prayers. - How to "not" wind a ball of yarn. LOL. Who else finds untangling yarn relaxing? Just me? #yarnbarf #aknitterslife #woes of knitting

My friend Linda granddaughter is marrying a Marine. Her daughter knit him a pair of these socks and he said it was a game changer. He wore them for five days straight! I think he needs another pair!! I love to knit for servicemen and it’s especially fun when you know where it’s going!

I hand washed these and dried in dryer. Came out smaller and a bit used looking. Husband says they feel great. I think if you laid flat to dry they would stay the same size. I’ll make again.
